When Work and Family Collide
For almost everyone, the word cheating has negative connotations, especially if you’ve ever been cheated. But allow me to use this unpleasant word in a broader sense. Try thinking of it as simply choosing to give up one thing in hope of gaining something else of greater value.
Daily we all decide to shortchange one thing in order to more fully experience another. It’s especially true with our schedules. We face a variety of responsibilities and opportunities-work, family, hobbies, clubs, sports. The list is endless. Each competes for our attention. Each competes for our most valuable resource: our time. But to give each the time it demands or deserves would require more time than any of us have.
So we “cheat.” We give up certain opportunities for the sake of others. We invest in some relationships while neglecting others. We allocate our time the best we can, knowing all the while that somebody’s going to feel cheated. ...

Happy Birthday... Donald?
No, June is not the month for celebrating Donald Duck’s birthday. But there is one Donald in the news that does have a birthday in June. Happy Birthday Donald Trump…. BUT why would I mention this to YOU?
Well, since you have been kind enough to be a part of our business,
I wanted to take the opportunity to give YOU a gift on Donald Trumps birthday.
I am sure Mr. Trump doesn’t mind. He seems to have plenty of stuff so I’d like to celebrate his birthday by giving you (and those you know),

Mother Always Said You Should...
My Mom used to tell me repeatedly to do this and do that, not to do this and not to do that. ALL, I recall, very valuable advice. Looking back on it, I can say she was, and still is, a very wise woman. Time reveals, in fact, just about every caring Mother is a Wise Woman.
I can see why we carve out a special day each year to acknowledge Mothers. So here is a shout out to all Mom’s
– Happy Mothers Day!!
My wife and I appreciate both of our mothers and thank God for their influence in our lives. So, they get lots of hugs and appropriate accolades every May from all of us.
Mothers work so hard for us and they seldom remember to celebrate and treat themselves. Mothers day is day where we can really show our mothers and grandmothers how much we really appreciate all of the hardwork they put in and everything they have done for us. They sometimes don’t get the thanks they deserve b ...

TAX Day... Ugh!!
I recently read where we were working Jan. 1 through June 30th of each year, just to pay all of our taxes. In Canada, add another month or two. After that, you keep all you make. Prior to that, 100% goes to the government in some form or fashion to pay for some kind of government worker, work program, social program, defense project, health care, common good, common bad, etc. Whatever you want to call it, April 18th is TAX day; the deadline for filing your federal income tax in theh USA. Canucks have to file by April 30th. Why April?
So in celebration of this special time of year, let’s talk TAX relief. If you received last month’s letter from me, you will recall our goal of trying to raise $25,000 for LIVE-IT Ministries. But - We need your help and I believe you can benefit from the TAX relief as well. ...

Exciting New Year’s Resolution…
As a fellow Lover of Christmas Time and the New Year Holiday, I wanted to write you this personal letter and share with you some exciting news for the New Year.
It seems most people establish New Year’s resolutions, but for whatever reason they fall short of keeping them. Each year I highlight a great book that helped me and my team dramatically improve our follow through on achieving important goals and I wanted to share that with you – as sort of a Happy New Year After Christmas Gift; more on the book in a moment.
Some of your friends, neighbors, associates or relatives may have a New Year’s resolution to make a move. Well - we can help them with that, help you at the same time and help a very worthy cause.
So, who do yo ...
